Uvicator UV Sensor
While mechanical damage to a helmet is noticeable, wear and tear due to UV radiation remains visually hidden. The helmet is equipped with a practical Uvicator sensor that changes colour depending on the level of UV exposure. As soon as the plastic shell of the helmet is weakened by UV rays to the point where its protective function may be compromised, the sensor signals the need to replace the helmet. This ensures maximum safety without having to guess at material wear.
