Ceresit Ceresit assembly cement CX 5, 5 kg

CERESIT CX 5 EXPRESS is a special assembly cement for quickly anchoring metal and plastic objects, such as grilles, railings, brackets, electrical installation boxes or distribution cabinets, into masonry, concrete and cement plaster. Thanks to its rapid curing time of just 5 minutes, it ensures a firm and stable hold. The cement is waterproof, making it suitable for locally sealing concrete structures and stopping minor water leaks. Its frost resistance and high strength guarantee reliability even in demanding conditions, both indoors and outdoors. For larger installation holes, you can mix the material with sand in a 1:1 ratio, although this may slightly reduce the strength. CERESIT CX 5 is ideal not only for installations but also for minor repairs, filling cavities or repairing edges and corners.                                                                                 

Application:
1. Substrates must be even, solid, stable and free from particles and substances that affect adhesion, such as grease, resin and dust. Remove any dirt and layers with insufficient adhesion.
2. Pour CERESIT CX 5 EXPRESS into a measured amount of clean, cold water and mix with a stirrer until you get a homogeneous, lump-free mixture. When sealing cracks and water leaks, as soon as the material starts to set, press it into the crack as quickly as possible and apply pressure for a few minutes until it dries.
3. Work in a dry environment, with an air and substrate temperature between +5°C and +30°C. In case of borderline temperatures, it is recommended to use heated or cooled mixing water.
