Ceresit Liquid Cardboard is a 2-component permanently flexible waterproofing mortar. Ideal for waterproofing basements, foundations and concrete elements. It allows to create an effective waterproofing on balconies and terraces with a surface layer laid on a grid or with ceramic plates placed on spacers. It provides protection against radon and after it has cured, cementitious adhesives and screeds can be applied. It is reinforced with special fibres. It offers the possibility of bonding tiles after only 12 hours. Ceresit liquid cardboard also bridges cracks in the substrate.

How to use:
1. Mechanically remove contamination, layers with insufficient adhesion, all coatings, paint and incoherent particles. We recommend cleaning the substrate by sandblasting or high-pressure washing with water. Widen and fill cracks smaller than 1.0 mm with CX 5 cement. Smooth uneven and irregular substrates with cement mortar.
2. The density of the mortar depends on the processing methour Stir the mixture until you get a homogeneous mass without lumps. Wait about 5 minutes and stir again briefly.
3. When applying by hand, always apply the first coat of CR 166 with a brush or paintbrush to a damp but not wet substrate. Protect the applied layer from drying too quickly. Apply the second coat (in case of brush application) crosswise when the first coat has hardened (we recommend that it is still wet).
