AVACOM Battery for Quality Battery Power Tools
The AVACOM battery pack contains only high-quality cells that have high performance and long service life. The battery is equipped with gold-plated connectors and the latest type of control electronics to ensure a reliable connection with your cordless tool. At the same time, the battery pack contains a number of safety features that prevent it from overcharging, low-voltage, over-current charging and short-circuiting. AVACOM batteries are more than just a quality back-up for your original battery, given that most of its batteries offer more charging capacity (and therefore stamina) than the original battery.
How to keep the battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged at the factory during its manufacturing, yet its capacity and performance is below 100%. Therefore, for optimal battery formatting, it is recommended to repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times at the beginning. Battery capacity is reduced when permanently connected to the power supply, so it is recommended to disconnect it from the device from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and make sure to check it and perform a discharge/charge cycle approximately every six months.
What damages the battery?
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when it is dropped down, or when it is not used for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only at room temperature. Only use the battery with devices for which it is intended for. Also be careful that the battery is not subject to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
