Splitting ax Fiskars X17 is equipped with an extended portion of softened plastic on a handle for a better grip ax. Its parameters are directly destined for splitting medium and large logs. Fiberglass handle associated with a head compositionally provides maximum resistance to damage.

The new blade geometry facilitates pulling tight ax from the chopping block. The actual blade has two degrees of hardness - body standard 48HRC and 55HRC Blade in. As with the other axes Fiskars, this model offers a perfect balance between head and handle for safe, comfortable and efficient use. The handle is also made of a material FiberComp, which makes the ax virtually indestructible. The ax comes plastic case for easy portability.
