The HDSVI985B Kitchen Island Cooker Hood is the perfect solution for removing unwanted fumes and grease from kitchens where your cooker is not positioned close to a wall. The Island Hood is a distinctive design element with a modern stainless steel hood extractor complete with black glass, a touch control panel and practical LED illumination. The Hoover hood is highly efficient due to three adjustable power levels and a booster function to quickly increase vapour extraction and reduce cooking odours. The hood can be connected to a recirculation operation with an aluminium filter or to a duct through an anti-return flap which prevents cold air from entering the kitchen.

Hoover is a leading manufacturer of vacuum cleaners of the same name. James Spangler gets credit for the development of the first Hoover vacuum cleaner. He was not a scientist, just as an asthmatic who did not like to constantly breathe in the dust from carpets. He sent the assembled vacuum cleaner to his cousin, Susan Hoover, who began to produce it with her husband under their name in 1908.
