HOYA 55mm HD NANO

The HOYA HD NANO 55mm UV filter is a universal filter that greatly absorbs UV radiation. When shooting in the open, exposure to ultraviolet radiation can cause blurred and unclear photographs. Hoya HD Nano filters have a total of 32 anti-reflective layers.

The low threaded ring is only 3mm thick. The filter is made of toughened glass which has a strong resistance to mechanical damage and dirt. The highly transparent polarising film is the same as you'll find with the latest LCD HDTVs.

This filter can suppress light diffused by air, which is most evident in the shorter wavelength of light. You can perfectly capture the beautiful blue sky in photos. UV radiation is also the reason why images of the sky or distant shots can be bright with blurry details.
