HOYA 82mm PRO 1D DHMC

The HOYA PRO 1D DHMC UV filter belongs to the category of multipurpose photo filters suitable for day-to-day photography, so it is not necessary to remove it from the lens at all. With its use, it is possible to achieve better image clarity and more accurate colour balance. By applying a UV filter to the lens, it absorbs ultraviolet radiation, which often causes blurred or otherwise unclear photographs and is suitable for both black and white and colour photography. It also has the added benefit of providing protection for the lens from scratches or other impacts that would otherwise damage it.

DHMC surface filters excel in their ability to minimise reflection of the filter surface, reducing flickering and blurring. With the DHMC multi-layered modifications, the filters can boast a really high light transmission. Hoya UV filters can provide a crisp, sharp image with perfectly balanced colours.

The PRO 1D series includes thin-film lenses of only 1mm which are specially designed for use with CCD or CMOS sensors.
