Because the stylus tip is extremely delicate and sensitive, traditional cleaning methods using brushes or motor vibration can cause unintended wear or mechanical damage. Unlike these methods, HumminGuru S-DUO Pro uses advanced ultrasonic technology to clean the stylus completely non-contact and without risk of abrasion. The cleaning process takes place in an ultrasonic bath with water. The 110 kHz ultrasonic frequency generates extremely fine cavitation bubbles that effectively remove dust, dirt and hardened dirt from the tip surface without disturbing the tip structure. The carefully calibrated combination of frequency and optimum amount of electricity ensures safe cleaning that does not interfere with the adhesive holding the diamond tip to the stylus.
Cleaning without unnecessary moisture
In the default setting, the ultrasonic cleaning itself takes only 20 seconds and requires only a minimal amount of distilled water, just 3 to 4 drops (approximately 0.3 ml). The gentle approach eliminates the risk of excessive moisture,that could affect the performance of the stylus. Once cleaning is complete, the included dust drying pads can be used to remove any remaining moisture, absorbing water from the stylus tip and casing and ensuring it is ready for use immediately. For users who prefer to use special cleaning solutions instead of water, the manufacturer recommends always consulting compatibility with specific stylus types.

To ensure safe and effective cleaning, the device is equipped with three types of rubber supports for the stylus, which are easily attached to the water tank. These supports serve to hold the stylus firmly and stably in place during cleaning, minimising any risk of mechanical damage. Before cleaning, you simply select the most suitable rubber support, place it in the reservoir and then add the recommended amount of water.

The HumminGuru S-DUO Pro features an aluminum digital pressure gauge that ensures accuracy and reliability in adjusting the stylus tracking force, a key factor for optimal playback and protection of valuable vinyl records and tapes. Thanks to the two-way LCD display you can easily turn the device and instantly measure the vertical pressure of the stylus immediately after ultrasonic cleaning. Convenience of use is enhanced by the function of automatic resetting of the scale when switching from ultrasonic cleaning mode, but it is also possible to manually reset the gauge by pressing the gauge icon. The package also includes a 5g weight, which is used to regularly check and calibrate the meter. Calibration of the manometer can be performed if necessary.
