Fans of the Warriors series, as well as players of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will be purring with delight. The porting of the characters, atmosphere, and even the setting of Breath of the Wild to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has been done brilliantly. However, the game is let down by the limited performance of the Switch, which isn't built for the massive battles of the Warriors style. (Alza Magazine)
A return to the kingdom of Hyrule in an action-packed “hack and slash” frenzy.
Princess Zelda is in peril once again.
Experience the events preceding Breath of the Wild
The story of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity takes place approximately 100 years before the events of the critically acclaimed action RPG, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This period has never been explored in any Zelda game before, giving players a unique opportunity to experience key moments of this universe first-hand.
Lots of playable characters
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity allows you to engage in giant battles with the minions of the villain Ganon. You'll be able to tear across the battlefield as Link and Zelda, as well as many other characters you may know from The Legend of Zelda series.
Huge battles with hundreds of enemies
Set out to save the kingdom of Hyrule on your own, or with the help of another player in local multiplayer.
Use the special abilities of all playable characters and triumph over evil once and for all.
Cut down entire legions of enemies with powerful combos and weapons on the Nintendo Switch.
