The new version of the deep-diving Illex DD Squirrel SP 6.7 cm is perfect for light to medium spinning. The long-billed minnow brings excellent results when fishing for perch, zander, asp and pike. With neutral buoyancy at a depth of 1-2 metres, the DD Squirrel stays in place and begins to stagger with every rod movement—moving just like a dying prey fish—totally irresistible for greedy predators. You can use the Illex DD Squirrel SP asa regular crankbait on a steady retrieve or try your hand at the Stop and Go method. The lure specialist Seiji Kato designed the DD Squirrel, so it's no surprise to find it fitted with a set of ultra-sharp Japanese trebles.
