The Immax NEO Smart magnetic door and window sensor, in black, detects whether windows and doors in your home are open or closed. The device immediately sends information about any change in status to the user's mobile phone, giving them an overview of entry into the property or ventilation in the rooms. This wireless magnetic sensor operates via a central unit that supports the Zigbee 3.0 protocol. It is powered by a single 3V battery, which keeps the sensor running for a long time.

Window and door status detection
The magnetic contact registers every movement of a window or door in the monitored property. In the event of an unauthorised entry or any change in status, the system immediately sends a push notification to the user's phone. The user has an instant overview of whether windows and doors are closed, even while they are away. The device operates in temperatures from -10°C to 55°C, which covers normal conditions in residential and commercial buildings.
Zigbee 3.0 protocol
Wireless communication uses the Zigbee 3.0 protocol, which requires a connection to a compatible gateway, such as the Immax NEO SMART BRIDGE PRO. This technology ensures stable signal transmission with low energy consumption for long-term operation. The wireless range reaches 10m in a built-up area and up to 30m with a direct line of sight. The device does not function as a Zigbee repeater but communicates directly with the central unit.
Create smart scenarios
The open detection can be linked to other elements within an open smart home system. Users can create automatic scenarios where, for example, the system turns off the heating when a window is opened for ventilation, thus preventing energy waste. Similarly, you can set the lights to turn on automatically when the front door is opened or activate a siren and alarm in case of unauthorised opening while you are away.
Control via the mobile app
Management and setup are handled in the Immax NEO PRO app, which fully supports English, Czech, Slovak, German, Hungarian, Polish, and over 60 other languages. In this app, users can monitor the event history and the current status of all connected sensors in real time. The application works on Android and iOS operating systems. The sensor is also compatible with Tuya, Lidl Home, Nedis SmartLife, Smartlife, ETA SMART, TESLA Smart, and MOES platforms.
Installation and battery power
Installation is done by simply sticking the sensor to the desired location on the frame and sash of doors or windows using double-sided adhesive tape. There is no need to drill holes or deal with complicated wiring in the walls, which simplifies assembly. The plastic body, with its compact dimensions and IP20 rating, is intended exclusively for indoor use. The device operates at a humidity level between 10% and 85% relative humidity. The device works with an operating voltage of 3V and consumes less than 5uA in standby mode. The battery keeps the sensor running for up to two years with ten activations per day. The RF output power in the Zigbee band is 10dBm to 11dBm, supporting low energy consumption.
