The Insta360 Mic Pro (2 TX + 1 RX) is an advanced wireless microphone system designed for creators who want professional sound without a complicated setup. The set, with two transmitters and one receiver, is ideal for interviews, two-person vlogs, podcasts, online content, and filming situations with two speakers. The microphone stands out with its high-quality recording, 3-microphone array, smart ambient noise cancellation, internal 32-bit float recording, and customisable E-Ink display, where you can upload your own logo, graphic, or image. Thanks to its wide compatibility with cameras, smartphones, and selected Insta360 cameras, it easily adapts to your workflow.

The Insta360 Mic Pro features an innovative 6-colour E-Ink display, allowing you to easily customise the microphone to your own style. Through the Insta360 app, you can upload an image, logo, or graphic to the display to give the microphone a personal touch. You'll appreciate this practical solution, especially when creating content, branded filming, interviews, or professional projects where not only high-quality sound but also the overall visual impression matters.

The advanced 3-microphone array captures a wider and more natural sound field, making the Insta360 Mic Pro perfect for various types of filming. Depending on the situation, you can choose a suitable pickup mode – cardioid mode is great for vlogs, livestreams, voiceovers, or ASMR, while figure-8 mode is ideal for interviews and two-person conversations. This ensures you get clean and precise audio tailored exactly to what you're filming.

When filming outdoors, in a noisy environment, or in a room with unwanted background noise, you'll appreciate the advanced NPU noise cancellation. This technology helps to enhance voices and reduce distracting ambient sounds, making the final recording sound cleaner and more professional. The Insta360 Mic Pro allows you to focus on your content without spending a long time tweaking the audio for every shoot.

The Auto Gain Control feature automatically adjusts the volume level based on the intensity of your voice. This means you don't have to manually set the microphone's sensitivity or worry about the sound being too quiet or, conversely, clipped. There are two modes available for different types of environments, so the microphone can easily handle regular filming at home, outdoors, and in more dynamic situations.

The Insta360 Mic Pro transmitters can record audio directly to their own internal memory, so they can also function as standalone recorders. The internal 32-bit float recording captures a very wide dynamic range and significantly reduces the risk of distortion during sudden changes in volume. With 32GB of memory in each transmitter, you have plenty of space for long recordings, which you'll appreciate when filming interviews, vlogs, reports, and longer productions.

A major advantage of the Insta360 Mic Pro is the ability to connect directly with selected Insta360 cameras without needing a receiver. The transmitter can be paired with cameras like the Insta360 X5, Ace Pro 2, GO Ultra, and other compatible models. Audio is recorded in high-quality 48kHz, which significantly simplifies both filming and subsequent content processing.

The Insta360 Mic Pro (2 TX + 1 RX) kit is designed for flexible use with cameras, phones, computers, and Insta360 cameras. Two transmitters allow you to simultaneously record two audio sources into a single recording device, which is ideal for interviews, two-person filming, or content with multiple speakers. Thanks to the receiver, USB-C adapter, and 3.5mm audio cable, you can easily connect it to various filming setups.

The Insta360 Mic Pro is ready for even longer filming sessions. Each transmitter offers a battery life of up to 10 hours, and the receiver up to 11 hours of operation. The package also includes a charging case that extends the total battery life to up to 30 hours and can fully charge the two transmitters and receiver approximately twice. The practical fast charging also allows you to continue working when you're in a hurry – just 5 minutes of charging provides up to 1.5 hours of use.

The wireless transmission operates in the 2.4GHz band and offers a range of up to 400 metres in an open environment without obstacles. This gives you greater freedom when filming remotely, outdoors, or when working with a camera on a tripod. When connecting the transmitter directly to an Insta360 X5 camera via Bluetooth, the transmission range is approximately 100 metres in an open space.

For more demanding productions, the Insta360 Mic Pro is also equipped with Timecode support. This allows for more precise synchronisation of audio with video when filming on multiple devices or during professional editing. The system supports common frame rates including 23.98F, 24F, 25F, 29.97F, 30F, 50F, and 60F, and the deviation is less than 1 frame per 24 hours.
Microphone PrincipleA dynamic microphone is suitable for open performances, live broadcasts, music production, etc. It uses a magnet and a moving coil to capture sound.
A condenser microphone is mainly used for studio purposes. It has higher sensitivity and lower noise. It needs to be powered separately.
Frequency RangeThe frequency range indicates the range of frequencies that the microphone records. The wider the range, the more sounds it can capture.
Low frequencies (e.g., 20–200Hz): Bass, the deepest tones of instruments (double bass, kick drum) and male voices.
Mid-frequencies (e.g., 200–3,000Hz): The body of instruments, the foundation of the voice where the ear is most sensitive, important for speech intelligibility.
High frequencies (e.g., 3,000–14,000Hz): Treble, details, sibilance, and the "shine" of the sound.
Air band (above 14,000Hz): Gives recordings a feeling of expensive, super high-quality sound and space.
SensitivityMicrophone sensitivity is the ratio of output voltage to acoustic pressure. It expresses how loud a signal the microphone produces at a given acoustic pressure; higher sensitivity means a stronger voltage and is suitable for quiet studios, while lower sensitivity is better for noisy environments because it amplifies less unwanted ambient noise.
