Magnetic snap-and-shoot attachment

Strong magnetic attachment ensures a firm and secure connection during use. The device attaches directly to iPhones with MagSafe and USB-C, and a wide range of Android phones use the included magnetic ring for a stable fit. MagSafe compatibility is required for iPhones with a case. Screen mirroring support via DisplayPort Alt Mode is required for Android devices.

Before use

For non-iPhone users
If your phone does not support MagSafe and does not have a magnetic case, a magnetic ring must be installed.
Attach the magnetic ring to the back of the phone or case using the adhesive layer. First, remove the covering foil, then press the ring firmly and let it set.
Bonding to the phone case is recommended. Repeated re-gluing reduces adhesion.
The Selfie Screen can then be magnetically attached and removed as needed.
Set your phone's side button to control shooting or filming to make using your device easier and faster.
For iPhone users
Activate the Zoom function on the Selfie Screen for the touch controls to work properly:
Open Settings > Access > Zoom and turn it on.
To return to the default view, double-tap with three fingers.

Important notes on use

For optimal Insta360 Snap Selfie Screen functionality, you must update your phone's operating system to the latest version. Only connect your device to DisplayPort-enabled phones via USB-C; Lightning-USB-C reducers are not supported. When connected to an iPhone, slight variations in colour display may occur, which is normal and does not affect function. On some phone models, touch response may be slower at the edges and some features may be limited depending on the system. Use can increase battery consumption and phone heating, if the phone slows down, it is advisable to temporarily disconnect the device and let the phone cool down. The brightness of the display is automatically reduced if the device overheats. When using with a selfie stick, ensure that the device and the protective cover are firmly attached. Do not use in impact activities that may cause damage. Do not disconnect the device by pulling the cable, but always by grasping the connector. When carrying, hold the main body of the device, never manipulate it by the cable. Do not disassemble or repair by yourself. Keep the magnetic ring out of reach of children and sensitive medical devices. Clean the surface with a slightly damp cloth or neutral detergent and allow to dry freely. Avoid strong friction, direct sunlight and high temperatures.
