Kaby Lake is the third generation of Intel's powerful 14nm processors after Broadwell and Skylake. This brings higher working frequencies with the same or even lower energy demands.
Intel launches another of its powerful processors. This time it has the codename of Coffee Lake. Basically, its architecture is very similar to that of the successful Skylake series. However, Intel has worked on various optimisations, resulting in the Intel Celeron G4920, which delivers reliable real-world performance while using minimal energy.
The Coffee Lake architecture is once again based on a 14nm production process. Intel is doing its utmost best to offer this processor at an excellent price/performance ratio. Intel sets itself very demanding manufacturing quality standards. The Intel Celeron G4920 works reliably at 3.2GHz. Access to data is greatly facilitated by a fast 2MB L3 cache that will give kernels enough time to respond instantly to all applications. This processor with these great features is a reliable foundation for your computer set.
Intel focuses on optimising existing technology and therefore the new processors from the Coffee Lake series will also function in existing motherboards with 1151 slots. It is only necessary to verify compatibility with the motherboard manufacturer and perform a relatively simple update of the UEFI environment.
Intel Corporation is the world's largest manufacturer of semiconductor circuits and related components, powering a large share of the world's computers, devices, and machines with their powerful and reliable processors. One of the most established and successful companies to come out of Silicon Valley, they've been a driver of the technology revolution ever since.
Intel employs over 96,500 employees worldwide and is one of the biggest and richest companies in the world. For decades, their slogan was "Intel Inside"; however, they replaced with the more dynamic "Leap ahead" in 2005, signalling a renewed commitment to innovation.
