Major Core Overhaul

Haswell utilizes revolutionary 3D transistors,  produced using the highly advanced 22nm process. The top-of-the-line technology, brings an increase in performance of at least 10%. The Advanced Power Saving Mode ensures a significantly lower consumption and environmentally friendly operation.

The Intel Core i5-4690K is clocked at 3.5 GHz and must be placed in an 1150 socket.  With an increased frequency of 1200 MHz, the Intel HD integrated graphics  card perfectly complements the CPU performance.  It works great as an office or a casual home PC capable of Full HD video playback. For a full-fledged gaming experience, however, you should pick a graphics card from our wide selection .

The second generation of theTurbo Boost technology boosts the clock frequency up to 3.9 GHz and enables the cores to exceed their stock frequency. The maximum frequency depends on the number of active cores, while the length of the overclocking period depends on the workload and operating environment. The upper frequency limit is determined by reaching threshold values of the four indicators (number of active cores, electric current drawn, power consumption, CPU temperature).

Cool Accessories

The processor is supplied with a stock cooler with sufficient performance for a trouble-free operation of the CPU. However, we strongly recommend that you choose one of the more advanced aftermarket coolers from our selection . The result will be lower temperatures and noise level in the long run.

Zdravím mám dotaz na frekvenci. je lepší mít frekvenci 3,5 a max 3,9 jako je u tohoto procesoru nebo je lepší frekvence 3,2 a max 4,0.

Dobrý den, dnes jsem konečně nainstaloval CPU i5 4690K (zakoupené v lednu) do nové základovky (MSI Z97 Gaming 3) a zjistil jsem, že se hrozně přehřívá. I když vím, že boxové chladiče jsou špatné, tak si i přes to myslím, že není zrovna standardní, když má CPU v idlu kolem 60°C a při větší zátěži měl dokonce 97°C. Nevíte, kde by mohla být chyba a jak ji případně vyřešit?
