INTEL Core i5-661 Dual-Core - 3,33GHz (87W)
Dual-Core Intel Core i5 661 is a suitable solution for a powerful and affordable modern home computer. The frequency of 3.33 GHz, 4 MB cache and an integrated DDR3 memory controller provide enough power to work, even the most demanding multimedia games.
The great news is the integrated graphics card Intel Graphics HD directly in the processor.By using new technologies and also because the CPU's integrated memory controller, a graphics solution that much more power than previous generation Intel graphics solutions (integrated in the chipset).
The new i5 series of Intel processors has been designed for the best price/performance ratio.I5 processors are dual-channel memory controller, it is therefore necessary to take Triple Channel memory kit as a number i7.Despite the absence of several technologies used in a number i7 (DMI instead of the earlier bus QPI, absence HyperThreading), provide much better performance than the older Intel Core 2 Quad. For this processor to be used for a new motherboard socket 1156th
Very interesting is the Intel Turbo Boost, which allows overclocking busy cores, or vice versa off underutilized.Overclocking is going change multiplier. Each core has its own multiplier, may therefore be the case when the two cores are shut down and the remaining two runs each on a different frequency. This feature can very positive impact on consumption without negative impact on performance.
