The Kaby Lake architecture is once again based on a14nm manufacturing process. Intel's demanding production provides absolutely stunning performance that gives this processor an excellent price-performance ratio. Like predecessors without AES-NI instructions, it allows much better hardware support when working with encrypted disks, with a substantial reduction in latency.
