Intel has launched the 8th generation of Intel Core processors, this time codenamed Coffee Lake. These processors have a very similar architecture to their highly successful predecessor, the Kaby Lake series. However, Intel has introduced various optimisations, creating the Intel Core i5-8500 processor that delivers a significant performance boost while maintaining minimal energy requirements.
