Haswell represents Intel's fourth-generation of Core processors and an evolutionary step called Tock. Unlike Tick (Ivy Bridge), it does not consist merely in fine-tuning the production process and adding minor modifications, but brings very significant innovations in the entire core design. The processor features the Haswell New Instruction set, while the GPU core ushers in a new era with an Iris chip

The Intel Core i7-4790Kis clocked at 4.0 GHz and mustbe placed in an 1150 socket.With an increased frequency of 1250 MHz, the Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics card perfectly complements the CPU performance. It works great as an office or a casual home PC capable of Full HD video playback. For a full-fledged gaming experience, however, you should pick a graphics cardfrom our wide selection.

The second generation of theTurbo Boost technology boosts the clock frequency up to 4.4 GHz and enables the cores to exceed their stock frequency. The maximum frequency depends on the number of active cores, while the length of the overclocking period depends on the workload and operating environment. The upper frequency limit is determined by reaching threshold values of the four indicators (number of active cores, electric current drawn, power consumption, CPU temperature).

Cool Accessories

Dobrý den, chci se zeptat nevím jestli tento procesor mohu vyměnit za i3 4330 3.50 GHz na základní desce Gigabyte GA H81M S1 rev 2.1 a jestli by to ta deska zvládla utáhnout takový silný procesor.
