A quality power supply is key! The motherboard needs a stable supply of power. Our CPUs are tested with Seasonic Platinum Prime 1200W power supplies. The quality and overall design of the power supply is more important than capacity in this case. Personally, I recommend Seasonic, especially the Prime series, for overclocking.

Our tips for achieving the guaranteed clock rate

  • Set the kernel voltage settings to manual mode in the UEFI to achieve a more effective power supply than the offset and adaptive mode can offer.
  • In the External Digi+Power Control settings, use ASUSdesek LLC level 6, to prevent unwanted voltage drops that could interfere with the overclock stability.
  • Kaby Lake processors are highly temperature sensitive, so use quality AiO water cooling size 240mm or better and a high-quality thermal paste. The stronger the cooling, the better the results. The cooling also depends on the airflow inside your case, meaning that if the airflow isn't optimal, the processor cooler won't function properly either.
  • A quality power supply that provides stable and accurate voltage is absolutely essential. We recommend the Prime series Seasonic power supplies.
  • The overclocking of our top CPUs requires at least some experience and basic understanding of the issue. Keep in mind that turning an overclocked system into a stable mode is no plug and play and requires patience and effort.
  • All processors have undergone at least 1 hour of the RealBench stress test by ASUS, which uses AVX instructions, among others.

Final recommendation

In order to achieve the guaranteed clock rate, it is imperative to follow our tips as close as possible. Keep in mind that you may fail to achieve the guaranteed frequency with an imperfect combination of components. The differences in the motherboards amount to dozens of millivolts, which goes hand in hand with the increase in processor temperature and the demand for cooling as well as the overall performance.

Když jsou tedy všechny (?) i7K procesory "testované" - znamená to, že všechny i7K procesory jsou rozbalené a přetaktovávané, ty neúspěšné se prodávají za normální cenu, ty úspěšné za příplatek? Tedy křemíková loterie na alza neexistuje? A neměly by tedy procesory mít spíš označení zboží "Zánovní" než "Nové"?

Připlatit 6 000 za něco, co si udělám doma? really?... O 7700K je všeobecně známo, že 5.1 GHz dávají s přehledem všechny kousky, takže nevidím v téhle nabídce žádnou exkluzivitu.. jen snaha o vyždímání zákazníka..

dobri den aki je rozdiel medzi kolegami tohto procesora mate tu dve pod timto oznacenim Intel Core i7-7700K tento stoji 595e a ten druhi 521e,jedini rozdiel vidim ze ten drachsi ma o 100hz veciu frekvenciu,
