This 8-core Intel Core i9-11900KF Rocket Lake CPU, with a working frequency from 3.5 to 5.2GHz, fits into the LGA 1200 socket, ideally with the Intel 500 series chipset. However, you can also use older Intel Q470, Z490 and H470 series boards.

11th Generation Intel Core Processors

Intel Rocket Lake processors feature the most significant change in the field of microarchitecture we have seen in recent years. The last refresh saw Intel using Skylake-derived Comet Lake cores—now we have all-new Rocket Lake cores based on Cypress Cove microarchitecture. Technologically, these are 10nm chips from Ice Lake processors with Sunny Cove cores, backported to Intel's 14nm process node. This allows you to enjoy higher operating frequencies on the Intel Core i9-11900KF Rocket Lake processor—even when dealing with heavy workloads.

Dobrý den, chci se zeptat, pojede tento procesor na desce Z590 bez nejnovějšího Biosu? Jde mi o to, jestli stačí na desce mít ten Bios z výroby nebo se musí přehrát na nejnovější, aby ten F procesor vůbec naběhl..
