Intel Xeon E5-1650 v4
Intel is an internationally known brand that does not need any special introduction. It has been among the largest manufacturers of processors and chipsets in the world for many years. Now it brings us a new, extremely powerful processor, designed primarily for servers, but also classic computer station. It was designed primarily for the maximum load and reliability in continuous operation. This processor is meant for motherboards equipped with the new modern LGA2011-3 socket.

Cutting edge technology
The processor features 6 physical cores and is part of the modern Broadwell series. It uses 14 nM production process, and unlike generation Haswell it brings a 5% improvement in IPC, i.e. interprocessor communication. Each core runs at 3.6 GHz with the possibility of turning on the Turbo mode, and automatic overclocking up to 4 GHz, if necessary. Four-channel memory controller is able to operate at a frequency up to 2400 MHz. Cache CPU reaches 15 MB.
Intel Turbo Boost 3.0
This technology overclocks busy cores, and turns off those that are not. Overclocking occurs when the multiplier is changed. Each core has its own multiplier, which may result in a case where two cores are turned off and the remaining two both run on different frequencies.
Virtualisation
Superior technology, which is used by almost every server processor. It provides the opportunity to combine existing environments with virtual environments. With it, you have no problem running multiple independent operating systems on one machine. This can effectively solve issues with compatibility of programs on newer operating systems. It also includes the latest virtualisation support Intel VT-d, which adds support for I / O devices in a virtualised environment. Finally, Enhanced Intel Speedstep technology allows reducing consumption in periods when full power is not required.
