Archive - Internal Card Readers

Internal memory card readers are designed to be installed primarily in desktop PCs, where they enable you to read and write all common memory card formats. Internal readers are usually installed in a 3.5" slot on the front panel of the PC case. The memory card reader is usually connected directly to the motherboard using a SATA cable, which also powers it. Some card readers may also offer additional connectors, such as a rechargeable USB connector.
