Apple upgrade on the sophisticated design of the 7 series includes hardened front and rear glass with 50% deeper hardened layers to push it to a higher level. The fortified glass complements the 7000 airline aluminium strip. The iPhone 8 remains resistant to spills, water, and dust according to IP67.
The Retina HD display has a resolution of 1334 × 750 pixels with a resulting fineness of 326ppi. The advanced colour adjustment supports True Tone technology and delivers a more natural colour rendering and is less taxing on your eyes.
An even better dual-portrait camera
The twin camera combines a 12Mpx wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. There is new optical image stabilisation modified with faster sensors. The intelligent image signal processor (ISP) recognises the scene content and optimises the images before they are captured. Significant upgrades are also hidden in the Camera application itself, which now contains a host of effects and filters.
