A reliable rod should be part of your fishing gear, whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler. The three-piece JRC rod made of carbon composite, is very robust and definitely will not disappoint you at the decisive moment. JRC has developed a series of Contact carp rods from which you can expect top quality for a good price. This 13ft rod features a lightweight DPS seat for the reel around which the surface is reinforced with a Carbon Armour. The 3.9 metre long rod consists of three parts and can be folded down to a length of 1.4 metres for easier transport. You can also find lightweight LTS SIC eyelets, a clip and a 50mm eyelet.

The JRC Contact carousel has a value of 3.5lbs, indicating the bar test curve.You will find out at what load the beam bends to the right angle and this works out the maximum throwing load converted to grams - 3.5 pounds corresponds to 1,588 grams - and after dividing this figure by 16 you get about 99 grams, which is just the maximum throwing load. Here it is taken into account that you will cast with maximum force, swing the load or even start running. What is important is that you will not harm the rod at all. You can also use heavier lead, but definitely cast more cautiously.
