The Kingston memory module is the foundation for increased server performance during multitasking and demanding tasks. This module is specifically designed to be used with seamless compatibility in HP/Compaq branded servers. This is an excellent option if you need to expand the memory in your server - especially if you require high performance with the ever-increasing user demand for data load and needed programs.
ECC Technology transparently checks in real-time the data integrity stored in the memory. It's able to find and fix a bug in a single bit and revel the error in just two bits. Some memory controllers are also able to repair larger-scale errors in cooperation with ECC memory. Most professional boards require memory supported with ECC. In collaboration with parity checking, the memory achieves maximum data transmission control. Parity is that extra little added word (the so-called parity bit) that allows you to then verify the authenticity of transmitted data.
Registered memory is equipped with a custom controller that controls access to individual memory modules, making it easer to work with on the motherboard or processor. The memory acts externally as a single module - a registered chip - which is responsible for reading and writing of individual memory cells and the controller transmits the result of these operations. This increases the efficiency of memory access and processing speed even when multiple memory modules are being used simultaneously. Some server boards require a registered memory.
