The device is equipped with a Marvell Dean controller and the 3D NAND Flash memory, providing a read speed of 520MB/sec and write speed of up to 500MB/sec. With these parameters, the SSD UV500 is up to 10 times faster than traditional hard drives. It also achieves very fast response times while multitasking.
Due to its special, durable design, the UV500 guarantees reliable operation. It does not contain any moving parts, so the probability of failure is much lower than with mechanical hard drives. In addition, the SSD drive works at lower temperatures, its operation is quieter and, due to its great resistance to shocks and vibrations, it is the best solution for use in laptops and other mobile devices.
