Plenty of Storage in a Small Package

The Rugged USB-C series of external drives offers four extra-large capacity versions. The smallest version is 500GB, the series then continues with 1TB, 2TB, and the largest 4TB version. Despite the large capacity, the disk dimensions are relatively small. The two smaller disks have the same dimensions and weight, but the 4TB variant is slightly larger and heavier.

Maximum Reliability

The drive's high-quality protective case is made of rubber and provides high resistance to shocks and falls. The Rugged USB-C series can really take a lot of abuse, to the point you can run it over with a one-tonne vehicle and the drive will be fine. The drive is also waterproof, so you don't have to worry about it if you are ever caught in the rain. With all these excellent properties, you can be sure that this nice-looking drive won't let you or your data down.

3-Year Warranty and Free Data Recovery Service

The Rescue Data Recovery service recovers data lost due to a disk failure, virus attack, software problem, or any other cause. The customer is entitled to one free data recovery attempt for the duration of the service. However, LaCie does not guarantee that the lost data can be restored in all cases. The Rescue Data Recovery service is linked to the internal disk contained in your LaCie drive. Any renewed data will be stored by Seagate onto a special storage device or cloud storage where the customer has access for 60 days. Please see here for more information.
