Breakthrough technology ThunderBolt 2 with a maximum bandwidth of up to 20Gb/s ensure maximum performance and incredible speed of data transmission that achieves up to 360 Mb/s. This is perfect for editing and displaying 4K video and other data-intensive processes.
RAID for speed and security
With USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 2 interface, the LaCie 2big seamlessly connects to any standard computer. Quantity RAID mode allows you to set the product exactly to your needs. Changing the RAID mode is amazingly simple. To maximize speed and capacity you can leave the device in RAID 0 mode.
Connects up to 5 devices
Thunderbolt 2 supports chaining of up to six devices through a single cable. You can connect up to 5 LaCie 2big storages and one 4K screen. Thunderbolt 2 is also backward compatible and uses the same cables and connectors as its first generation.
