The LaCie d2 Quadra v3 is the perfect external hard drive for professional environments. Its sophisticated design enables to stand it alone vertically, stack multiple drives horizontally, or install it in a 19" rack with a kit from LaCie. To keep the hard drive safe, the body is built using materials of extraordinary quality. Using the latest USB 3.0, the high-speed 7200 RPM hard drive is able to achieve an impressive read speed of up to 130 MB/s.
Universal Connectivity
This model is unique thanks to the presence of a total of four interfaces - USB 3.0, eSATA, and finally, two FireWire 800 ports. With all of its interfaces, the d2 Quadra v3 has universal connectivity, so it’s easy to back up and restore any workstation, no matter the configuration or interfaces.
With LaCie Desktop Manager, which is preinstalled on the hard drive, you can easily configure the shortcut button to instantly launch any application or to activate the drive's eco mode. Thanks to its two-color LED, you will easily check the drive's status. Included are also various backup assistants which allow to backup and restore your data on both Windows and Mac.
