Advanced cooling system
With the All Aluminium unibody housing heat is efficiently dissipated from the individual components and the integrated silencer base which extends the surface cover, provides more space for heat dissipation. The results in a long service life with ultra quiet operation without any vibration.
External Hybrid Storage
Install the optional LaCie d2 SSD Upgrade (sold separately) and your device will reach five times the data rate of 1150 megabytes / sec this will extend your internal SSD and performance on your PC or Mac. Just remove the back panel of the LaCie d2, install, upgrade and you'll get 128 gigabytes of SSD storage easily.
