LaCie 8big Rack Thunderbolt 2 24TB
This high-performance LaCie rack storage provides up to 24 TB of space when fully mounted, distributed among eight 3TB hot-swap 7200RPM drives 3TB drives. Rack mounting is especially suitable for corporate usage, where sophisticated data security, easy maintenance, and maximum transfer rates are necessary. It uses the LaCie 8big Rack 2 Thunderbolt hardware RAID, hot-swap design and, as the name suggests, two Thunderbolt 2 ports, resulting in incredible and stable transfer rate for backing up and transferring large files such as 4K video.

Easily Configurable RAID
In addition to compatibility with any computer, hardware RAID provides consistent performance and increased reliability. The drives use the HFS format by default and are connected in RAID 5 mode for immediate use with Mac.
LaCie RAID Manager gives you with a centralised and efficient way to configure and monitor all 8big LaCie racks connected to a single workstation. With RAID migration you can switch from RAID 5 with 4 drives to RAID 5 with 8 drives with no data loss. If you are busy, you can set up sending various reports directly to your e-mail to prevent problems that can be solved quickly by timely intervention and without data loss.
Speed and Reliability
The modern Thunderbolt 2 interface offers incredible transfer speeds reaching up to 1330 MB/s, allowing you to archive a large amount of data in a matter of moments. Additionally, it makes it easy to stack up your storage devices and connect up to 6 of them to your PC with a single cable.
An innovative cooling system ensures long-term reliability of the storage and protects it against overheating. Another important feature is a full component redundancy, which is an excellent tool for professionals to ensure reliable and secure 24/7 data distribution. In case of failure of one of the components, the storage remains fully functional.
