Levenhuk telescope Ra 300N Dobsonian
With the Levenhuk Ra 300N Dobsonian you can observe thousands of objects in the night sky, many of them in detail. Only weather or an unsuitable state of the atmosphere can spoil a rendered image, but in good conditions it will show many astronomical beauties. You can observe all objects in the NGC catalogue, the Moon, planets of the Solar System with their orbits, comets and more. The telescope is ideal for making astronomical observations in the countryside and will be a good choice for beginners and experienced astronomers alike. In addition to the optical tube and mount, the kit includes a 9 mm eyepiece, a 30 mm eyepiece and an 8×50 mm viewfinder. They allow you to start observing immediately.

Key Features of the Levenhuk Ra 300N Dobsonian
- Newtonian reflector with 300 mm primary parabolic mirror
- Special aluminium coating with a reflectivity index of 92-96%
- Active cooling for faster temperature stabilization with battery operation
- Crayford two-speed eyepiece lift for precise focus adjustment
- Simple Dobson-type mounting with bearing on the brake system side for smooth tube movement
- Focal length 1520 mm
- Minimal optical distortion and high aperture
- User-friendly design
Dobson type mounting with improved bearing on the brake system side
The Dobson type assembly has been significantly improved compared to conventional Dobson type assemblies. Special bearing on the side of the braking system for smooth tube movement allows the optical tube to move smoothly. You can move the optical tube up or down a few centimetres even when using heavy eyepieces or the optional viewfinder. Scales are located on the sides of the assembly for convenient balancing. The bearings have a more robust design and thus work smoothly throughout their lifetime.

Parabolic main mirror
The diameter of the primary mirror of the telescope is 300 mm. It is parabolic, so optical distortion is minimized. The optics produce a clear image up to maximum magnification. Aluminium coating with a reflectivity index of 92-96%. The optical component incorporates a Crayford two-speed eyepiece lift so that focus can be continuously adjusted.

Active optics cooling
There is a cooling fan on the back of the telescope tube. Used to speed up the temperature stabilization process. Under normal conditions, the optics can take several hours to reach ambient temperature. However, active cooling can cut this time almost in half. The fan is powered by batteries (to be purchased separately).
