The maximum spin speed of a washing machine indicates how fast the drum spins during the spin cycle. This value, usually expressed in revolutions per minute (RPM), has a major impact on how dry the clothes will be after washing. Higher RPM means more efficient removal of water from fabrics, which can reduce drying time and energy costs. However, too high a speed can be less gentle on finer fabrics.
