Enhanced Navigation with Dual Eye

Dual Eye 2.0 can now automatically calculate the light intensity and scan the ceiling. Whether it is bright or dark, it can take clear pictures of the room and minimise the wandering of your robotic vacuum cleaner. The upper camera captures the surface of the ceiling at 30fps, continuously evaluates the images and simultaneously localises and maps the space. The bottom OFS camera, in the form of an optical sensor, uses floor scanning to measure distances and recognises both obstructions and minor changes in the floor profile.

Triple Cleaning System for Perfect Results

Hom-Bot combines 3 different motion modes for maximum cleaning. The first mode is Spiral, where the vacuum cleaner moves along a wide spiral for spot cleaning. The diameter of the outer circle is 1.5m. Another mode is Zigzag, where Hom-Bot moves back and forth until it encounters an obstacle. This mode is efficient for large areas with few obstacles and is the most commonly used automatic mode. The latest is Cell by Cell, which is a more sophisticated navigation by finishing a cell in Zigzag mode and then moving onto the next cell. It is an efficient choice for complicated areas with obstacles. The robot can also detect glass and transparent objects and store the location of obstacles in memory for the next cleaning.

Smart Exit Handles Every Obstacle

The vacuum cleaner features a sophisticated system for avoiding obstacles. This can prevent it from getting stuck, for example, on the edge of the carpet or when it's rolling over a cable. The Hom-Bot is not stopped by obstacles - the automatic vacuuming system along with the detectors moves over obstacles without stopping. The vacuum cleaner recognises windows frames and glass doors without any problems, which prevents it from getting stuck. Conversely, when cleaning a narrow space, Hom-Bot moves away after a certain period of time. With its mapping feature, the vacuum cleaner continues cleaning without unnecessary repetition even after you've moved it manually.

Easier Maintenance

The dust bin of the LG vacuum cleaner is removable from above. It is easier to use than the plug-in type found in conventional robotic vacuum cleaners. You can forget about scattering dust around the container when removing and emptying the bin. This bin's capacity is 0.6l and can hold a large amount of dust. The cleaning brush is stored directly on the bin so you can always find it and you do not have to remember where you put it last.
