It also decodes DSD at all 3 sampling frequencies (2.6, 5.2, and 11.2 MHz). The powerful D-class digital amplifier then amplifies the signal over a wide range (up to 50 kHz) and preserves the dynamics of the music.

The HD-AMP 1 is equipped with the ESS SABER DAC 32-bit/384kHz best-resolution decoding system and has the widest dynamic range , it doesn't matter which compression ratio you choose. To make the conversion from digital to analogue optimal at any sampling rate, the HD-AMP1 is equipped with dual quartz clocks.

Marantz Musical Digital Filtering

The amplifier is equipped with exclusive digital noise filtering technology. It uses patented digital filter algorithms that extract maximum authenticity from high-resolution sound . You can choose from two digital filter algorithms to precisely match your sound.

Discrete HDAMs

The Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module instead of the conventional integrated amplifier circuits, this module contains discrete-element blocks. Thanks to these blocks, the amplifier provides a broad frequency response, high speed and lowest distortion . The HDAM-SA2 modules are in the analog section, the D/A converter block and the headphone amplifier parts.

The Marantz HD-AMP1 has two USB ports (1 front and 1 rear) to connect an Apple device, USB memory or Mac. A digital sent signal means perfect transmission without noise or high quality sound reduction.
