Indulge in the perfect surround sound music experience. The Marantz MM8077 has the ambition to engage the brightest audiophile enthusiasts. The overall design has been subordinated to perfectly pure, undisturbed and extra strong amplification (150 watts at 8 ohm output and up to 180 watts at 6 ohm) analogue sound on 7 channels. The mated chassis improves noise penetration and maximum stiffness is provided by a reinforced multilayer bottom plate and a 3-ply cover. The elegant surface is a delight for the eyes.
The high-frequency toroidal transformer coupled with high-performance (71 WVDC) 100,000 µF capacity filter capacitors with lightness even processes sharp tips. Thanks to the unique current feedback on discrete power amplifiers that are identical for all channels, the MM8077 has an excellent dynamic range with a wide bandwidth. Even at high volume, every detail of your high-definition sound will come through.
In order for the output device to be stable, it is mounted on a unique cooler made of an extruded aluminum alloy in the shape of a tunnel. Here, both passive and active cooling are provided. Massive passive cooling improves the ribs that increase heat dissipation. If this is not enough, the fan will start. Even when running, it's quiet. The fan is located directly inside the passive cooler and not on the chassis cover, as is often the case.
