The universal use of the amplifier supports analogue and digital inputs. You will find both optical and coaxial digital inputs. The DAC4398 digital decoder decodes high-resolution digital audio up to 24 bits and 192 kHz sampling.

Discrete voltage amplifier for feedback

Amplifiers commonly use voltage-based feedback in the Power Amplifier section. Marantz, however, offers exclusive feedback that provides excellent fidelity and the lowest possible distortion. The amplifier section is completely composed of discrete circuits (it does not have integrated amplifiers) and has an extremely fast power supply so that the amplifier is capable of high power and instant current peaks.

Advanced HDAM-SA3 modules

The Amplifier includes the latest Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM-SA3) components, which consist of selected, precisely matched circuit boards instead of conventional integrated circuits. The latest generation of HDAM-SA3 provides an improved 10 dB signal-to-noise ratio and ultra-wide bandwidth response (100 kHz, -3 dB) for crystal clear detail in height, compared to older HDAMs. The HDAM-SA3 modules are used both in the phono and digital block and in the power amplifier.
