The Lake District Park is known for its unspoilt countryside and endless lakes. In the midst of this nature, cows live in the pastures that produce the best whole milk, which gives Kendamil milk its unmistakable taste, vitamins and nutrients. Kendamil milk provides newborns with all the nutritional benefits of cow's milk, naturally containing high levels of calcium and protein, as well as 22 beneficial amino acids needed for a healthy body. Kendamil also contains essential vitamins and minerals as well as probiotic GOS and essential fatty acids Omega 3 and 6.

Red Tractor's most stringent regulation

All organic farms must meet the strictest regulations of Red Tractor, which oversees the breeding of farm animals and the growing of raw materials. Organic whole milk = less vegetable oil, which is a common cause of indigestion and constipation in babies. It avoids the process of making powdered milk powder, which creates a substance full of oxidized cholesterol and neurotoxic amino acids.

All Kendamil milk producing cows are raised in a grass fed form, which increases the percentage of Omega-3 in the milk. This substance helps reduce the incidence of eczema, asthma and hay fever. Complex sugars support good gut bacteria, the key to normal immune and gastrointestinal systems.

What do you often ask us?

Most of the UMs available on our market contain skimmed milk and vegetable fats. There are many reasons for this and one of them is the desire to save money. Kendamil milk is made from whole cows' milk from local farms in Cumbria and the Lake District, a protected landscape area in the UK. Kendamil does not contain palm oil, fish oil, soy or GMOs.
Milk fat is easier to digest than vegetable fat. Twenty years ago, infant formulas contained fats mainly from whole milk. So we wondered why the change. And we got our answer: to save money and production costs. We also asked why there has been such an increase in eczema, colic, constipation and interrupted sleep, and why the industry invented the 'hungry milk' formula. Our research and findings have inspired us to return to whole milk.
It won't, quite the opposite. Your baby will get all the nutrients they need in Kendamil milk, as it is made to be as close to breast milk as possible. Whole milk contains 26% fat and 74% protein. Current studies show that excessive protein intake during infancy increases the burden on the kidneys and can lead to a risk of overweight and obesity in later life.
Both the classic and organic lines are made from whole cow's milk. The organic line is 100% organic, or Organic, and the milk comes from local organic farms that are smaller and certified organic. These organic farms are more environmentally friendly and use organic fertilizers in the garden, with cows on free pasture up to 200 days a year. The organic range is also suitable for children with allergies, eczema and hay fever.
Yes, Kendamil does not contain palm oil, fish oil, GMOs or soy. Animal fat is much easier to digest than vegetable fat, so Kendamil is also suitable for children with more sensitive digestive systems.

How is Kendamil milk used?

1. Wash your hands, sterilize all equipment and the bottle according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Boil fresh water and let cool (no longer than 30 minutes). The ideal temperature is 37°C (milk may dissolve less easily in water that is too cold). Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water. Pour the required amount of water into the sterilized bottle.
3. Using the measuring cup included in the package, add the number of aligned measuring cups to the bottle of water.
4. Cap the bottle and shake well to dissolve the powder.
5. Always cool to natural drinking temperature first before serving.
