MEDELA Supplementor
The Swiss company Medela, which is engaged in the research, development and production of health systems and aids, comes with another product for mothers with children. Supplementor is a special supplemental system for nursing mothers allowing the baby to take breast milk from the bottle, and at the same time from her breast. Thanks to this, the correct suction method is preserved and the hormones and glands stimulated in the making of breast milk. Also, the baby is not deprived of direct contact with its mother. The use of supplements supports the increase in lactation, offering the possibility of controlling the amount of breast milk administered, and shortening feeding time. It is suitable for babies with a low suction reflex, babies with low birth weight, adopted children and twins feeding together.
