All parts that come into contact with breast milk can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Do not use antibacterial or abrasive cleaners to clean the breast pump as they can cause damage. Never submerge the motor or adapter in water or insert the receptacles, as this will irreparably damage these components. Be careful when removing the white valve and cleaning it. If it is damaged, the extractor will not work properly. To remove the white valve, gently pull the knurled tab on the side of the valve. Clean the white valve by gently rubbing it between your fingers in warm water with added dishwashing liquid. Do not insert objects into the white valve, it could be damaged.
Manual cleaning:
Step 1: Wash all parts under lukewarm running water.
Step 2: Soak all parts in warm water with a little mild dishwashing liquid for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Clean all parts with a soft brush.
Step 4: Thoroughly rinse all parts under potable running water.
Step 5: Allow all parts to air dry on a clean cloth or drip tray.
For the safety and health of your child:
Always use the bottle under adult supervision.
Do not use feeding pacifiers to soothe your baby as there is a risk of choking.
Persistent and prolonged sucking of liquids causes tooth decay.
Always check the temperature of the food before you feed your baby.
Keep all parts not in use out of the reach of children.
Keep the cap of the bottle out of the reach of children to prevent them from choking on it.
Do not allow children to play with small parts or to walk or run while using the bottle.
Check all parts before each use and stretch the feeding pacifier in all directions.
Discard any part if it shows any signs of damage or wear.
Always pour off any milk left after feeding.
How to prevent bottle damage:
Do not place the product in a hot oven, the plastic may melt.
Plastic products may be subject to disinfection and high temperatures. This may change the fit of the bottle cap. Do not leave the feeding soother in direct sunlight, expose it to heat or leave it in disinfectant for longer than the recommended time, as this could damage it.
Varation:
Do not use a breast pump during pregnancy as suction can induce labour.
