100 traditional building details - water protection

The book presents a selection of 100 traditional, time-tested details concerning the issue of additional dehumidification of masonry, presented in professional publications, especially at the end of the 19th century and in the first half of the 20th century. Each individual detail is accompanied by a commentary, which concludes with a discussion of the possibility of its application in the present and the determination of the conditions of applicability of the detail. 40 details concern air gaps in walls and floors, 40 details deal with English courtyards and 20 deal with insulation layers made of different materials (clay, bitumen, non-absorbent layers).
