– I started writing the book for my own personal use as a deeply intimate confession. I needed to get everything that happened to me out of my system. It was both my therapy and my cleansing," explains Andrea Kábelová, whose first book does not deny her long experience with writing, which must not only inform the reader truthfully, but also immediately captivate.
– The impetus for the publication came from Linda, a volunteer who helps cancer patients and disabled people. She told me: ‡This should be read by those who are equally ill or have someone ill in their family, because it might help them,' says Andrea Kábelová, originally a journalist by profession.
– And so I hope it really helps. Even if I just make them laugh," adds the author, who has been living with a breast cancer diagnosis since 2015.
