An even more sensitive confession of a fool
A More Sensitive Confession of a Madman is the moving continuation of the life story of David Svoboda, who bravely shared his battle with bipolar disorder with readers in his first book, A Sensitive Confession of a Madman. The new book takes us to the next stage of David's life, where we meet him on the threshold of new challenges and possibilities.
After several years, David returns to Brno, where he has decided to settle down again. With determination and hope, he starts a new job, full of expectations and feeling that he is finally finding peace and stability in his life. He is in love with Bára and they are planning a future together. However, despite the apparent harmony, the shadows of the past do not disappear. David's inner demons relentlessly try to regain power over his mind and emotions. Depression unexpectedly creeps into his life, and the work that once gave him meaning and joy becomes a heavy burden.
A More Sensitive Confession of a Madman is a story about the power of human will, determination, and the willingness to step out of one's comfort zone. In it, the author opens the door to his inner self and writes not only for those who are seeking inspiration, hope, and understanding for their own internal struggles.
