An invitation from a mafioso

A novel about one of the most prominent and feared journalists of the 90s during the Czech Klondike era, and his endless battle with a major mafia boss. It's set in an environment where the only authorities are money and power, and all other values are seen as a sign of weakness. The book reveals the inner workings of the media, their methods, and shows how we are constantly being manipulated.
This ruthless game with human lives in Central Europe intertwines with the story of a girl in Tibet, whom monks are protecting in a secret monastery from the Chinese communist regime. A girl destined for great deeds by an ancient prophecy. Readers are introduced to two worlds with completely different approaches to life.

A novel where the line between real events and fiction blurs.
