Detective The Uncorrected Mistake
A killer's mistake sets in motion a routine murder investigation at a Bratislava high school. The homicide detectives, led by Detective Chief Inspector Ledecky, are checking all possibilities according to a well-established pattern.
Suddenly, an impulse comes from a side where no one expected it. Modus operandi and statistics speak for themselves: There are more such cases in Slovakia! Should detectives trust a man who has already let them down once? Are these isolated incidents or the rampage of a monster in human skin? Everything points to the fact that the victim is not the only one.
As the search progresses, the cruel truth is revealed, but how close the killer is to his pursuers and their loved ones, no one yet knows. Relationships are fragile and facing a stress test. In addition to his main activity, young inspector Jakub Koreis and his more experienced colleague Machrák defend their own police honour. At the request of colleagues, they are to seize the repeat offender and bring him to justice. They are failing and their efforts are interrupted by more important responsibilities.
Ledecky's group is step by step approaching the human beast that has already taken several women's lives. The only thing they don't know until the last minute is who the next victim will be and how the killer plans to correct his mistake. But that is exactly what they need to prevent him from doing. They have no idea how personal this will be.
