Appropriate reading

To read is to walk the path to understanding yourself and the world around you. But it's also great to have fun, laugh and let some sadness in.

A subjective guide to the labyrinth of literature Are you drowning in books? Walk into a bookstore and don't know where to reach? Which one to choose? This book is a lifeline. Take a breath and sail joyfully through the world of literature, albeit a bit subjective, a little conservative, but exciting nonetheless, sweet, fragrant.

The Appropriate Reader is a fun book about reading and books is really about what the title promises. Because! Martin Patřičný is a beautifully opinionated madman. He loves books, wood and women. He's probably not even sure of the order himself. All three motifs run through his artwork and books. He wrote the reader for several years. It is in fact his lifelong reading diary, in which he invites us into his book-length memoirs. He speaks with great passion about a solid part of his life - books that are worthwhile. Which are worth picking up and putting in your head not just a second time, but multiple times... to have in your library.
