Autumn storm

The war across Andalor shattered the mighty empires and gave rise to a number of smaller kingdoms. Although many years have passed since the last major conflict, many have found it difficult to accept defeat. Times of peace create a sense of security and give space for the defeated to lick their wounds and get back on their feet. The plot of the first book begins in victorious Gaerwell and features a hopeful Prince Aeryon travelling alongside his father, a young Lady Elena tempted by fate, and the experienced Lord Commander Aldyn investigating strange murders in the capital. On the other side of society stands the glorified slave Belario, fighting for the audience in the desert arenas of the ancient city of Oryas, and the intrepid thief Sera, on her way to the wealthy Erias.
