Bibliodrama and its potential for spiritual growth
Bibliodrama – unlike the professional, scientific interpretation of the Bible (exegesis) – represents an approach to Scripture that seeks to understand it as a relevant message for our lives today. It involves a group exploration of a biblical text using a wide variety of techniques (primarily dramatic, but also artistic, musical, etc.) leading to its experience and assimilation. This book, the first of its kind in our country in terms of its comprehensive approach to the topic, offers both a theological reflection on bibliodramatic work and a practical introduction to it. For clarity, both the theoretical and practical passages are supplemented with testimonies from participants, taken from their subsequent written reflections.
